If you are in the process of setting up your Broadband connection and the following screen appears follow the instructions below.
Confirm that the grey cable is securely connected to your Phoneline and the Modem.
If the DSL Light has still not come on this may be the result of too many devices connected to the line, try unplugging all connected devices and then wait for 30 minutes, which will reset the connection. Connect the modem only to the line and retry. If that does not work try connecting it to the main phone socket.
If the DSL Light has still not come on check to see if you have equipment connected directly to your phone line, such as a monitored alarm. A DSL splitter will need to be installed by a certified engineer for this, your Alarm Provider can arrange this for you. Also, if you have more than four telephone devices on your line, you may require additional Microfilters, which can be purchased from any computer store.
