Connecting to Perlico broadband with your own modem/router

  1. Open your browser and load the page http://192.168.1.254
  2. * If there is a link for 'Manage My Account' on the left hand side:
  3. Click this link.
  4. Remove any username and password and enter your Perlico username and password. If you cannot remember your username or password, click on the link below.
  5. Click the 'Submit' button.
  6. * If there is not a link for 'Manage My Account' on the left hand side:
  7. Click 'Expert Mode' (on the left hand side).
  8. Click the 'Yes' button to enter 'Expert Mode'.
  9. Click 'Configure' on the left hand side.
  10. Click the link for 'Connection' (beneath the Configure link).
  11. Remove any username and password and enter your Perlico username and password. If you cannot remember your username or password, click on the link below.
  12. Click 'Save And Restart Connection'.

What is my Perlico broadband username and password?

  1. Open your browser and load the page http://192.168.1.1
  2. The router will require a username and password in order to login. The default username is 'admin' and the default password is 1234 (although you may have changed this at some point. In which case, enter your own password here).
  3. If you are prompted to change your password, click Ignore to continue. It is recommended however that you change the password for your router/modem for security reasons.
  4. Click 'Wizard Setup'.
  5. On the first page of the Wizard Setup, click 'Next'.
  6. On the second page, remove any username and password and enter your Perlico username and password. If you cannot remember your username or password, click on the link below.
  7. Click 'Next'.
  8. On the next page, 'Log On To The Internet' (or 'Save Settings').
  9. You can then click 'Start Diagnose' to run some simple connectivity tests.
  10. If all the tests pass, then you are online and you should be able to access a web page from your browser.
