Perlico, the leading alternative provider of telecoms, broadband and related services to Irish consumers, is delighted to announce that their IT team has received the prestigious 2008 Inspired IT award for the Telecommunications Media and Technology sector. The award recognises and rewards those organisations that have demonstrated business value creation through the use of Information and Communications technology. This is the second year in a row that Perlico has won the award.
To support its business model of multi-service retailing and deliver increased savings for customers, Perlico has developed and implemented a state-of-the-art billing system. BillServe was developed entirely by Perlico’s in house IT team in order to increase the efficiency of the billing process and further improve on Perlico’s award winning customer service. The platform automates the billing process, supports the billing of multiple independent services and products and improves Perlico’s flexibility, efficiency and accuracy in contrast to the alternatives that are used by many telecoms providers.
